If there is any discrepancy between this timetable and any other documents such as Statements of Entry or labels on Question Paper packets, the timetable takes precedence over all other

Examinations scheduled for the first session should start at
08:00; and those for the second session should start at 11:00.
Any time required for candidates to read through question
papers, to study maps, etc. is already included in the duration of
the examination as shown on the timetable and on the front
cover of the question paper.

Based on the Botswana Examinations Council (BEC) documentation for the 2025 academic year, the BGCSE examinations are scheduled for the October/November period.
Key 2025 BGCSE Examination Information:
- Main Examination Period: The written papers for the 2025 BGCSE take place during October and November 2025.
- Practical Examinations: Practical components for subjects such as Textile, Clothing & Design (1263/02), Innovative Design & Aesthetics (1264/02), and Physical Education (1259/02) are scheduled for 10 September to 25 September 2025.
- Practical Planning Sessions: Specific planning sessions for practical exams are scheduled for 11–14 August 2025.
- Session Times: Morning sessions generally start at 08:00, and afternoon sessions start at 14:00.
- Mock Exams: The 2025 National Mock Examinations are scheduled from 28 July to 13 August 2025.
